Performance

Capture FPS mode

Lower modes use less CPU and battery. Auto adjusts based on system load.

Enable person detection

Off by default for privacy. When enabled, the extension may flag human figures in the captured region. Output stays local unless you upload a case.

Enable optional vision models

Runs curated or user-supplied models locally on your hardware. Output from user-supplied models is never included in Hermes uploads.

Notify on new case detection

A browser notification fires when a new case is created. Rate-limited to one every 10 seconds.

Show banner on the captured tab

Flashes a small banner on the captured tab when a case fires. No effect when capturing a screen or window.

Small bright mover targets distant aerial objects (small, bright, smooth-tracking). Uses more CPU than Motion - consider Eco or Balanced FPS.

Not paired. Pairing is required only for uploading cases to Hermes.

All cases are stored locally in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly upload a case.
